In China, when a person contributes to an industry with distinction for a good length of time, they come to be addressed as “Master.” With nearly 50 years experience in the Chinese Gear Industry, Mr. Mei has earned the title.

Prior to joining Red Rover Master Mei worked in the Equipment Department of the Shanghai Turbine Factory. He held this position from 1952 to 1998. Throughout his years in this industry, Master Mei performed a variety of functions in gear processing. He is an expert at geometric calculation, surveying, and the charting of gears. He has vast experience in raw material selection and heat treatment. Furthermore, he has the development and production experience to analyze your needs and find the right solution for a successful working process for your company.

Master Mei has authored technical articles in the Chinese Gear magazines “Machinery”(magazine), “Technical Research in the Machinery Industry”(Book) etc.. He also sat on the technical committees for compiling the books; “the Gear Techniques”, “Simple Handbook of the Gear Working Process” and “Handbook of the Milling and Lathing for Gears”.
